Kemakta was commissioned as the editor for parts of the documentation for SKB’s application to SSM for the construction of the Spent Fuel Repository. This involved the plans that SSM required for the development efforts concerning the clay materials to be used in the repository.
SSM requested that SKB provide an account of the activities and measures necessary for further development and adjustment of manufacturing methods, detailed design, and testing methods. The plans should also address qualification, acceptance criteria, and additional information required for the specification, manufacture, installation, and inspection of the technical barrier buffer. Kemakta contributed as an additional resource and with specialist knowledge regarding the permitting process for the Spent Fuel Repository.
