Kemakta is assisting the City Development Department of Stockholm with soil investigations in Western Nockebyhov. The project’s aim is to gradually repurpose urban areas in the region by constructing new residential areas, as well as renovating parks and recreational spaces. The city is carrying out the project in stages around Gubbkärrets gård, Tyska Bottens väg, and Gubbkärrsvägen.
Kemakta has contributed to various phases of the project, from preliminary system design and detailed planning of the construction phase. The work has involved sampling and analysis, soil classification, the development of environmental monitoring programs and excavation plans, as well as the preparation of the environmental sections of procurement documentation. Upon completion of each construction phase, environmental monitoring and the management of contaminated materials will be documented in a final report.
