06 Apr Kemakta welcomes Astrid, Kristina och Pernilla
Astrid is soon to complete her Master of Science in Environmental and Water Engineering at Uppsala University and SLU. Alongside her position at Kemakta, she is writing her thesis on the environmental impact of remediation methods. Astrid will strengthen Kemakta’s team in the areas of contaminated sites and environmental sampling.
Kristina has worked for 20 years with contaminated sites, both as a consultant and within governmental agencies. She has experience from several large development projects, from the investigation stage to the implementation of remediation measures. Kristina’s experience in coordinating tasks at both project and overarching levels has made her a sought-after project manager and client support for various customers. Kristina will reinforce Kemakta’s team in contaminated sites and project management.
Pernilla holds a master’s degree in molecular biology and biology from Stockholm University. For the past ten years or so, Pernilla has worked with environmental risk assessment, environmental classification, and project coordination in the licensing process for biocides at the Swedish Chemicals Agency. Pernilla will contribute to Kemakta’s investigations of environmental risks and ecotoxicological effects of contaminants in soil and water, as well as waste classification.
Here’s what our new employees have to say about starting work at Kemakta:
Astrid: “For several years now, I have had a great interest in contaminated sites, so Kemakta was an obvious choice for me. I am particularly looking forward to working practically in the field as I enjoy being outdoors.”
Kristina: “It will be great fun to work with all the nice and talented colleagues at Kemakta, and I look forward to continuing to develop in my professional role.”
Pernilla: “I look forward to collaborating with the competent colleagues at Kemakta and developing in environmental work from a new perspective.”
