Decommissioning of the Ågesta Reactor

As part of the decommissioning of the Ågesta Reactor, Kemakta has been commissioned to calculate dose consequences from radioactive materials and to determine clearance levels. The Ågesta Reactor, also known as R3 or Adam, was Sweden’s first commercial nuclear power plant. It operated from 1964 to 1974, primarily producing district heating for Farsta as well as electricity that was fed into the power grid.
