In 2023, Kemakta worked on a guide regarding waste classification for Avfall Sverige. It has now been published and can be downloaded by Avfall Sverige members, see further on Avfall Sverige’s website.
The target group for the guidance is:
- Waste industry
- Operators
- Others affected by the classification
The guidance is intended to facilitate understanding of the overall methodology for waste classification based on current legislation. It contains advice on elements that should be included in the classification and also practical examples of the classification of certain commonly occurring wastes.
