20 May Anna and Kristoffer
We are very pleased to introduce the latest additions to Kemakta – Anna Karlsson and Kristoffer Hagvall, both experienced consultants with around 15 years’ experience working in contaminated land management.
Anna holds an MSc in Engineering in Natural Resources Engineering and has previously worked as a contractor and site supervisor on remediation projects. Since 2016, she has held roles as project manager and technical lead within contaminated land and soil environment projects, primarily in urban development schemes. She also provides client support to municipalities, coordinating environmental investigations and liaising with regulatory authorities. Anna has extensive experience in environmental site investigations, risk assessments, remediation projects, and environmental supervision during construction works.
This is what Anna says about joining Kemakta:
“It feels very exciting to join a smaller company with a high level of expertise, where I can continue to develop professionally in my role.”
Kristoffer holds a PhD in Chemistry and has conducted research into how metals interact with organic matter in natural aquatic environments. He has worked as an environmental specialist and client representative for targeted remediation measures within contaminated sites at the Swedish Transport Administration, and more recently as an environmental consultant. Kristoffer has experience in detailed risk assessments, investigations into the bioavailability of contaminants, and the preparation of Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs), permit notifications/applications, and tender documentation for remediation projects.
In his role as a specialist in major infrastructure and urban development projects, Kristoffer has focused particularly on risk assessment and risk evaluation during the feasibility study phase. He also has a strong interest in sustainability issues and has contributed to the development of working methods and tools for sustainable soil and mass management.
This is what Kristoffer says about joining Kemakta:
“It feels both exciting and challenging to join a company that I have admired for many years as one of the organisations that laid the foundations for how contaminated land management is carried out in Sweden today. I am grateful for the opportunity to develop within a company with a high level of expertise and a working environment characterised by a close-knit and welcoming atmosphere.”
